Jimmy Dee.

Composer/Spiritual guide.

As a child I always thought of myself as a distraction to most of what was continuing around me. Maybe I was just being a kid. A pain. But I realised before I hit my teens that being disinterested was a calling. I remember my English teacher at thirteen telling me; 'You have so much potential, but you're just an Outlaw'. Probably one of the best things I ever heard. It was a sound. I have been making music since I was eight. I am positioned through this life to never repeat myself while putting everything I do in the memory bank to draw on that particular experience for the next composition. I like wine, love the outsider. I see myself as a digger of an eternal spirit ditch.

What is it I do?

Making music is something I have done forever. I am a writer, been in bands, toured, made records and made records with other artists. Some well-known, others not, but all of them are different. Part of what I do best is guidance and pulling people and ideas together. At times artists need an alternative path that combines existing ideas that can develop or new ideas unknown. At times they just need a whipping post. Challenge is good. The unpredictable often wins. Any piece I work on takes me to another place. I figure we all want this

So I hear things. Sometimes I hear shapes and colours-images-and more recently I hear light.
